Who here is a Todd McFarlane fan?

I don't expect this to get a lot of attention, as I've had terrible luck with Interest Checks in the past. Here goes nothing.

As you could guess, this circles around a particular anti-hero created by the awesome mind of Todd McFarlane, the ever bad-ass:

I was tossing this idea back and fourth for a while now, seeing as I've been thinking of a biblical rp. After re-watching the HBO animated series, I finally found what I wanted to rp about. I'm also curious how many fans are here on RPGateway, and if there would actually be any interest about such a story. I do have one issue that I need help with, but the rest of the story is all set. I just can't decide if this should be about good ol' Al Simmons or the newer face in the limelight, Jim Downing. If anyone here is familiar with the Jim Downing era of Spawn, please contact me as I am really not familiar with him as the new Spawn.

But I suppose I should give a taste of the story, shouldn't I? It focuses around our main man, Spawn, who upon his own initiative dove into Hell itself and stole something of such great value to it's denizens, that all of the flaming pit has been writhing and reeling in total anarchy over it's absence. Hell's desire to have this item back is so great, that they would bring about a new Armageddon in their efforts to reclaim it. Soul's of men who've made deals with the demon lord Malbogia have begun returning to Earth, some by being released during the turmoil, others by grand design. All lost, all confused. Regardless, Hell had one order for them: Retrieve that which was stolen, and kill Spawn. However, whether or not you follow those orders is up to you, the consequences will be paid either way.

And what is that item, you ask? Well, you'll have to read the story......

This is based on the comics of Spawn, and does take certain bits from the movie as well, though mainly the comics. this is in no relation to that god-awful abomination: The Adventures of Spawn. This is an adult rp, with tons of gore, violence, cursing, etc etc. Basically humanity at it's worse, and then what Hell wants it to be. Also, it's alright if your not familiar with the comics, but I'd advice at least watching the animated series on youtube. I will provide a link via PM but not openly over this forum, and I warn you that it is very adult.

I'd really like to see what kind of fan-base is still around and on this site, so post or pm if you have an interest!
